Designer, researcher and consultant Paul Gerretsen of the Deltametropool Association and a guest speaker from Ukraine will discuss metropolitan development in their two countries. Could lessons learned from the reconstruction of Rotterdam inform the future reconstruction of metropolitan areas in Ukraine? How to build on an initial recovery to create a stable, sustainable and innovative spatial practice? And which policy reforms in the field of spatial planning could contribute to the prosperity, infrastructure and quality of life in Ukraine and the Netherlands?
