Cécilia Gross (1979) took office as Government Architect of the Netherlands on 1 September 2026. She is also a partner-director architect at VenhoevenCS. After completing her architecture studies at l’École des Arts et Industries de Strasbourg and Delft University of Technology, she settled in Amsterdam in 2001. Two years later, she joined VenhoevenCS. Her strength lies in connecting architectural and urban challenges, whether for a school, a station, a mixed-use building, or an entire city district. She applies this integrated approach internationally as well, including in her home country of France, with a highlight being the Olympic Aquatic Centre for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
